ACHILLES joins the DICE Alliance at EBDVF 2025: Semantics and Compliance for Trustworthy Data and AI in Europe
From 12–14 November 2025, the European Big Data Value Forum (EBDVF) will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, bringing together leading experts, researchers, and innovators in data and AI.
As part of the DICE Alliance—a collaboration of four Horizon Europe projects funded under the DATA-01-01 topic (ACHILLES, DATAPACT, ACCOMPLISH, and CERTAIN)—ACHILLES will contribute to the session “Semantics & Compliance: Enabling Trustworthy Data/AI in European Data Spaces”, on Friday, 14 November at 9:00 CET.
The session will explore how semantic technologies and compliance-by-design approaches can operationalise European values—ethics, transparency, and trust—across diverse sectors. Through ontologies, semantic models, and formal methods, the DICE Alliance projects are developing innovative solutions to represent, reason about, and enforce regulatory requirements such as those outlined in the AI Act, GDPR, and Data Act.
By integrating semantics and compliance mechanisms from the outset, ACHILLES and its partners aim to advance a common European approach to trustworthy, interoperable, and human-centric data and AI ecosystems.
